Chatting Event

Lindbergh will be hosting A Chatting event on Thursday January 26th from 5:00-6:00 pm in the cafeteria hosted by executive director Mike Esseily. Mr. Esseily the director of special populations will be joined by Elaine Starett Director of Accounting, Fatme Turfe director of staff retention, Jeffery Murphy director of food service and Nada Alamaddine Director of Human resources Non-Instructional.   The district is excited to bring back these informal, in-person sessions Several district administrators will be in attendance and be able to help answer questions on a variety of topics.By design, Chatting events are less formal than school board meetings, providing an opportunity for interactive conversations on a variety of school-related topics.

Conversations will be driven by those in attendance and could focus on topics related to individual schools or to the district as a whole.  Parents who want to discuss particular students or staff members should arrange to meet privately with the school principal or child’s teacher.

Possible topics could be the ongoing infrastructure planning study, facility needs and current construction projects in the district, how ESSER funding is being used, pandemic-related learning losses, the purchase of buildings for the Henry Ford Early College, or other school or district issues parents may want to discuss.
