When To Keep Your Child Home Reminder

Parents and Guardians,

Please click on the link below for a reminder of when you should keep your child home if they aren’t feeling well.

Also, when excusing your child’s absence due to illness on our attendance line or Parent Connect, please indicate either their diagnosis or symptoms.

A child who has a fever of 100.4 or above should remain at home until they are “fever free” for a minimum of 24 hours without any fever-reducing medications. Vomiting: Please keep your child home until no vomiting for 24 hours.
