Read for the Gold-March is Reading Month

It’s March Is Reading Month and Lindbergh students are encouraged to “Read for the Gold”!  This month will be filled with lots of fun reading activities focused on Winter Olympics.  A calendar of events with dress up days, guest readers and fun facts will be sent home today (2/28).  On the back of the calendar will be a reading tracker.  We are encouraging all students to read or be read to nightly at home and document those minutes on their calendars (minutes must be signed by an adult at home in order to count).  Top reading winners in each grade will be selected for gold, silver and bronze medal prizes and incremental prizes will be granted along the way for ALL students who participate in the challenge!  Can’t wait to see all the kids on March 3rd for the official opening ceremony of the Lindbergh Reading Games!
