It has been a busy week and we are exciting to welcome you to our Open House tomorrow, September 9th from 6-7:30. This year to ensure everyone has an opportunity to visit their child’s teacher and keep everyone safe, we will have our Open House outside. We will have tables set up for classroom teachers and specials in the back lot near the basketball courts (K-2)and four squares (3-5), click for map. Please remember, that this is a great time to meet the teachers, staff and other parents from our community. We kindly ask that you be mindful of those waiting around you and their time. During Open House, you will also have an opportunity to sign up for individual Parent-Teacher conferences so that you may have more in-depth discussions regarding your child. In addition, our fabulous PTA will have a table set up. Please stop by their table to find out more about our exciting events and how to be a part of our school community. The PTA has been able to secure an ice cream truck for our guests that may be interested in purchasing a sweet treat. We look forward to seeing everyone.
The Scholastic Book Fair is back! Dates are Monday, September 13 (Preview Day) through Thursday, September 16. The book fair will be open for sales Tuesday through Thursday from 2pm to 4:30pm. Finally, we will be cleaning out our lost and found lockers. We kindly ask that if your child is missing anything, to please come take a look and see if it is in there. On September 17th, any unclaimed items will be donated or disposed. Your support is appreciated.
