As teachers begin completing assessments, face-to-face learning labs will begin starting this week. These learning labs will begin with small groups of approximately 1-3 students by invitation only. Each teacher will be offering them on a variety of days Monday to Friday (not everyday) in order to limit the number of students and staff in the school at the same time. This will also allow for maximum social distancing in the building.
These limited small groups will offer additional in-person assistance to students for academic and other needs first. The remaining students will continue to be seen in small groups remotely. If we as a community continue to see a decrease with the positivity rate then we could eventually see an increase in students being serviced face-to-face.
Your child’s teacher will communicate with you if and when your child will be seen and whether or not it is remote or face-to-face. Your understanding and flexibilty continues to be appreciated.
