Another reminder is the district is still offering food distribution as various locations. Meals will be available for pickup on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each week at Bryant Middle School, Dearborn High School, Edsel Ford High School, Fordson High School, Henry Ford Elementary, the Dearborn Heights Campus (Howe/STEM/Berry Center), Lowrey School, Maples Elementary, McCollough-Unis, McDonald Elementary, Miller Elementary, Salina Intermediate, Smith Middle School, Stout Middle School and Woodworth Middle School.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy your weekend.

Dear Families

This week we will begin to ask parents to bring in their children for one-one or small group testing (3 or less) on NWEA and DRA. This testing is required by the state and included in our district’s learning plan. Teachers will be reaching out to you and setting up appointments. Most students will require two testing appointments. The timeframe of the appointments  for students will vary depending on the grade and may require another visit to the school to complete. To the greatest extent possible, testing appointments will not interfere with students’ instructional time. As a result this assessment process may take several weeks to complete. We appreciate your understanding and support. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.

For the health and safety of our students, staff and parents, we require any person that is entering the school building to be screened. All staff are required to wear a mask at all times and follow safety protocols. Students will have designated waiting areas outside that are six feet apart from each other. Once screened, students wearing a mask will enter the building, sanitize their hands and be escorted to a classroom. The classroom will have no more than three students. In addition, we will have no new students enter that classroom until the entire group has left the classroom and it has been disinfected.  WE are asking that parents do not enter the school building. There will be staff available to help students transition from outside to inside and back again. There are disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer all over the building and in classrooms. Please know our top priority is the safety of our students, staff and families.

Have a wonderful day!

Parent Commitment for Student Screener

Dear Parents,

As we begin implementing learning labs next week, we would greatly appreciate if you can complete the form attached.  This form is a district requirement and must be completed before students can enter the building.  Please make sure that you are completing the form for each individual child in your household.  Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Parent Commitment Form

After you have completed the commitment form, it is expected that parents please answer the screener checklist questions prior to bringing your child to school on that day.

Ms. Tiba

Week 1

Linbergh Families

We officially got through week one. I am sure this week has been a bit of a roller coaster and appreciate the communities patience and understanding. I hope you all take this weekend to relax and enjoy this beautiful weather. Tuesday, September 8th we will begin full day schedules . Teachers will be sharing schedules with you before the weekend so that you have time to look it over and plan accordingly.

Please remember that this is new for everyone. We understand the frustrations/challenges and are confident that through dialogue and flexibility we will get through it.

As always, if you have questions, please let us know.

Welcome Letter

Lindbergh Families,

Today, you should receive an email from your child’s new teacher regarding information on the 2020-2021 school year. By Saturday, if you have not received any information, please reach out to us so that we may confirm your email address and help resolve the issue. Thank you for your understanding.

Below is the plan for next week’s material pick-up. We really appreciate all of your support and understanding ahead of time.
