Dear Parents/Guardians,
Kids Heart Challenge is back for the 2024-2025 school year and will run from February 3rd through March 7th. This is a fun and educational program from the American Heart Association that teaches kids the importance of heart health, while giving them the opportunity to make a difference in their community. Through engaging activities and challenges, students will learn about staying active, making healthy choices, and practicing kindness. The donations raised during the event goes toward life-saving research, education, and resources to help fight heart disease and stroke — the nation’s leading health threats. By participating, kids not only support a great cause but also build healthy habits that can last a lifetime.
Your support will make a significant impact in the fight against heart disease, and we are so grateful for any contributions to help us reach our goal of raising $3,000 this year.
The funds raised through this event not only benefit the American Heart Association but also directly support our school and our students here at Lindbergh!
Incentives for Lindbergh Elementary
- If 50% of your child’s class signs up for the Kids Heart Challenge (which is free to do!) their teacher will receive a $25 Amazon gift card to spend on their students as a celebration!
- If 3 or more students complete Finn’s Mission (directions are easy to follow in the app!), your child’s class will earn an additional $25 Amazon Gift card for your classroom to spend on the children in their classroom!
Incentives for Students
- Weekly prizes will be distributed during PE class as donations are collected.
- Top 10 fundraisers will be invited to a bowling field trip and will also be able to dress the dog (Ms. Tiba) with ketchup and mustard during an assembly!
- Students who complete Finn’s Mission will be part of a drawing to attend a bowling field trip (50 students maximum)
- The top fundraiser also gets to be a PE teacher assistant for ½ a day!
