Open House and First Day of School Reminders

Lindbergh families,

Open House:

We are so excited to see new and returning faces at our upcoming Open House this Friday, August 23rd from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. This special event is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about your child’s classroom, meet their teacher/s, and see firsthand the exciting learning experiences we have in store for them this year. This is also a great opportunity to walk to school with your child, if able, in order to familiarize them with their route, traffic rules and a little extra exercise..

During Open House, you will have the chance to:

  • Meet your child’s teacher/s: Ask questions, and learn a little more about what to expect.
  • Tour your child’s classroom: See the classroom environment and learn about the curriculum and activities.
  • Connect with other parents: Meet other families in your child’s grade and build a supportive community.  We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential for your child’s success. 

What you need to know:

  • Parking: Please use the designated parking areas.  Please be mindful of your surroundings and student safety especially when near the school. Entry: Please enter through the main door only (door #1). This door will be unlocked during Open House hours.
  • Meet the PTA: Be sure to stop by the PTA table for some light snacks and information regarding our upcoming PTA events.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Open House and working together to create a positive and enriching learning experience for your child.

First Day of School Reminders;

First day of School: Monday, Aug 26th, is the first day back to school and a half day. Dismissal is at 12:05 PM for all students. Our LINE-UP bell will ring at 8:50 AM and the ENTRY BELL will ring at 8:55 AM. Lunch will not be served on the first day of school.

Student Placement/Class Supply List:

Your childs’ teacher will send a Welcome letter with all necessary information on Friday, August 23rd around 10am . In the meantime, you can find your child’s suggested supply list by clicking here.  If you haven’t received an email by 11am, please contact the school office.

Please ensure that your Parent Connect information is updated. Click here to log in to Parent Connect. Families will not have access to student information in Parent Connect until August 26th. If this is your first time logging into Parent Connect or if you’ve forgotten your password, please click here.

Outdoor Line up: In the morning students will line up at their assigned number when the first bell rings. The teachers will be coming outside to pick up and drop off the students. We kindly remind parents/visitors that they must remain outside the building as students are escorted inside by their teachers.  Any visitor needs to enter from the main office and sign in.  Please click here for our Pickup and Drop off line-up locations.
