Greetings incoming Lindbergh families,
Believe it or not, it’s that time of year again! In just a few short months your child will be attending school, making new friends and best of all creating new memories. We love this time of year as it gives us the opportunity to meet new families and get to know our future flyers.
To help ensure a smooth process and answer any questions you may have, please read below for important enrollment information!
To enroll in kindergarten, students must be five years old by September 1st and live within the Dearborn Public School District. Waivers are available for students who will turn five after September 1st but before December 1st. For parents already living in the district, the waivers need to be submitted by June 1st. The district no longer offers boundary line exemptions to new families. Parents must enroll their child at their homeschool. To see which school your child would attend, visit our elementary school enrollment map or call Student Services at (313) 827-3005.
Parents and guardians can begin enrolling through the district website at www.dearbornschools.org/enroll. Enrollment packages will not be available at Lindbergh until after Kindergarten Roundup. After enrolling your child/ren, feel free to visit our Lindbergh Elementary blog. We encourage you to subscribe to our blog to receive updated information as it becomes available. We also encourage our incoming families to fill out our pre-enrollment form.
