Parent Survey for District Wellness Policy

In accordance with the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, each local educational agency that participates in the National School Lunch Program or other federal Child Nutrition programs is required by federal law to establish a local school wellness policy for all schools under its jurisdiction. New provisions strengthen the requirements on public involvement, transparency, implementation, and evaluation among other topics. A reformed wellness policy is due June 30, 2017.
Dearborn Public Schools is currently working to reform its current district-wide wellness policy to meet these new requirements. However, in order for the implementation of this policy to be successful, it is important that the parents and guardians of Dearborn Public School students provide feedback. Please use the survey below to express your perception of wellness within Dearborn Public Schools and your own household, along with any other opportunities Dearborn Public Schools may have to improve student wellness practices.
