Lindbergh Elementary School’s Top Ten Points of Pride

Strong, dedicated and caring staff including teachers, principal, secretary, paraprofessionals, and other support staff with a passion for the education of children

Parents who are involved and caring and supportive in showing their strong investment in learning and education

Students, who follow the Core Values, want to learn and give us the purpose for education. We introduced Positive Behavior Support and expectations for all students with full implementation of PBiS in the fall.

Community involvement and participation- coming to school events such as Haunted School, Holiday Boutique, Bingo for Books, Fun Fairs, etc.

Well maintained building- kudos to the Building Engineer and custodial staff for keeping it that way, also to the district for working on keeping it up to speed

Activities after school such as Chess Club, Art Club and Extended Day Learning

A strong curriculum across the content areas and materials in the media center, book resource room and classrooms to support it.  We had an increase in all 8 areas tested on the 2011 MEAP to reflect strong student achievement.

Development of  Daily 5/CAFÉ  through help from the  literacy coach/interventionist, district and local training, materials to support the literacy development of our students

A large playground with lots of equipment and space to encourage the physical development of our students as well

Before and after school care from our Kids Club supervisors as well as community service from the preschool daycare.
